Am I missing out on my insurance money and eligible for a claim?

If you have stopped work due to injury or illness and have not been informed about this insurance money, then you may be missing out. This insurance is paid for out of your retirement for the sole purpose of helping you if you are unable to continue working until retirement age.

How long do TPD claims take?

Most TPD claims will take between 9 to 12 months to get a result. With our specialist focus we typically get a complete claim between 6-9 months.

Which medical conditions would make me eligible to claim?

When winning a TPD claim the main task is to demonstrate how your medical conditions impact on your ability to work until retirement age. The conditions themselves vary from Mental Illness, Bipolar, Anxiety, Depression, Chronic pain to Autoimmune diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus and also to physical injuries, Spinal Disc damages, Nerve pain, shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist stress injuries as well as arthritis and more. With our specialist TPD experienced medical professionals we will demonstrate with evidence how you are no longer able to return to work. What if it is an old injury or illness and my account has been closed?

What if it is an old injury or illness and my account has been closed?

We regularly help people with claims from 5, 10 even 15+ years ago whose accounts were closed when they first inquired. Often when you stop working your retirement balance will shrink and the account will be closed over time. So long as your account was open at the time you stopped working we can force the fund to crack back open your account and help you access the money hidden away.

Can I have more than one total and permanent disability claim?

Yes you can. If you changed jobs in the past you may have had more than one fund open at your date last worked. We can help you claim the insurance from each fund open on your last date worked.

Does my TPD (Total and Permanent Disability) claim have to be work related?

No it does not. When an injury or illness happens away from work, we will still be able to help.

Often illnesses such as mental health illness, multiple sclerosis (MS), heart attacks and autoimmune diseases occur later in your work career and this causes no problems when making a claim if it has had a serious impact on your ability to work.

Physical injuries are the same and often take place at home, on a sport field in public or while driving. When you are unable to work due to restriction of motion, pain, or the risk of sustaining further injury you may be eligible to claim.
